Zionism needs anti-Semitism as the air to breathe. That's old news. Theodor Herzl wrote in his diary: "The anti-Semites will become our most dependable friends, and the anti-Semitic countries our allies." The journalist Max Blumenthal who was slandered in Germany together with the Israeli journalist David Sheen as an "anti-Semite" did a great job of illuminating this highly dangerous relationship. In a speech at the University of Glasgow he had this to say about the conjoined twins:
"I think the hardcore Zionist really care putting Jewish life in danger in the Diaspora. They don't care that they are destabilizing Jewish life. Their nightmares, one of their biggest fears is the absent of anti-Semitism. Because without anti-Semitism in the West there is no political justification for the Zionist project, which is supposed to exist as a sanctuary from anti-Semitism. In so many ways they are acting in a de facto coalition with anti-Semites."
Blumenthal criticizes Benjamin Netanyahu's call to all Jews in Europe to emigrate to Israel. "He calls for a Judenrein Europe just as anti-Semites do."
