The Truth about the Fight against "Anti-Semitism"

Yoav Shamir's worth seeing film "Defamation".

The Israeli movie maker Yoav Shamir documents in the film "Defamation" the fight of the Anti-Defamation League (ADL) against "anti-Semitism". This "fight" has little to do with "anti-Semitism" but much with muzzling Israel critic. "Anti-Semitism" serves as a pretext to immunize the State of Israel against criticism. 

The Israeli peace activist Uri Avnery said about the fight of ADL. "None of them fights anti-Semitism. They fight criticism of Israel". He continues saying: In the US there exists hardly any anti-Semitism. "Anti-Semites? You'd need a magnifying class to find them." There are people "like Sherlock Homes to find anti-Semites", so Avnery. Particularly repulsive seem the school trips of tens of thousands of Israeli pupils per year to Auschwitz in order to indoctrinate and manipulate them for political ends. The video is worth seeing and very instructive. 

By the way, I had my specific experience, inter alia, with the questionable work of ADL. When the defamation campaign of the German Zionist Lobby against me reached its peak in 2008, Glen S. Levy and Abraham H. Foxman wrote a letter on April 2, 2008, inter alia, to the then German Interior Minister Dr. Wolfgang Schäuble, in which they complained about my "egregious remarks" (...) "that are anti-Semitic according to the Working Definition of Anti-Semitism of the European Union Agency for Fundamental Rights". They asked him to "promptly sever its ties to Dr. Watzal in order to avoid further damage". 

They did not cite a single of these "egregious remarks", although my complete writings are available online (www.watzal.com). Beyond that the definition by the European Union adopted in 2005 was a political statement without legal force. Because its controversial nature, it was finally dropped in 2013. The EU’s Fundamental Rights Agency (FRA) now says it is neither able nor authorized to define the term anti-Semitism. This shameful document is no longer available and disappeared.

President Obama: Close Guantánamo

New Inmates in Guantánamo?

13 years of torture and lawlessness at Guantánamo should be enough for the self-proclaimed flagship democracy. This military camp has made a mockery of the US jurisdiction, which has lost its credibility. For the rest of the world, American democracy is no longer a role model because of its lousy judiciary and its criminal and despicable foreign policy. Wasn't the US founded, inter alia, on the basis of the rule of law? All American children cut their teeth on apple pie and the rule of law. As long as Guantanamo stays open, it's an insult to anybody who respects the rule of law, justice and fairness. 

In the name of democracy, freedom, free trade and for the benefits of the 1 percent superrich, Millions of non-white people have been killed. Not to speak of the 4, 500 US soldiers in Iraq and 2,360 US soldiers in Afghanistan who lost their lives for the crackpot idea of fighting terror. Tenth of thousands of maimed servicemen and servicewomen and several thousands of suicides in the military seems to be swept under the table.

In Washington D. C., the founders of "Close Guantánamo", the well-known human rights lawyer Tom Wilmer and the journalist Andy Worthington, discussed together with Col. Morris Davis, the former chief prosecutor of the military commissions at Guantánamo, America's open sore. In 2009, President Obama promised to close the military prison within one year. All his efforts, however, were blocked by the US Congress. Public protest forced the Obama administration to deal again with the Guantánamo detainees. 

Originally there were 799 prisoners in Guantanamo. Up to 127 all were dismissed without being indicted. Some of the prisoners died or committed suicide. Of the 127, 57 are due for release. 52 of them are Yemenis, but they have not been send to Yemen because of civil unrest in the country. Members of Congress oppose a release on the grounds that the released would re-engage in terrorist attacks. One can ask where the evidence is that they engaged in terrorist attacks in the first place? To date, no former prisoner has done anything wrong. Due to scant evidence, even the kangaroo courts convicted only 6 prisoners in 13 years. 4 out of 6 were convicted for an offence that was later determined not an offence.

There is one British citizen incarcerated at Guantánamo, Shaker Aamer. Although the Brits are America's closes ally and took part in the raid against Iraq, neither Tony Blair nor David Cameron have been able to secure his release, though Aamer has long been cleared for release. 

The prison camp at Guantánamo is not only a stain for America but also an international story, because the inmates have been living in a lawless space. International law has been twisted and bent beyond recognition by the legal counselors of the Bush administration. They created a legal vacuum in which everything was permitted, torture included. 

Guantánamo remains America's open sore as long as those responsible for torture and the abuse of law are not brought to justice. The remaining inmates should be transferred to a detention facility within the US and brought to trial. If the evidence for an indictment is insufficient, they are to be released immediately. It goes without saying that the detainees must be compensated. Why not sending Bush, Cheney, Rumsfeld and their cronies to Guantanamo?

Trauer um König Abdullah von Saudi-Arabien

World Leaders nehmen Abschied von einem Despoten und Förderer des fundamentalistischsten Islamismus.

"All the devils in Hell were much exited today to welcome a newcomer", schreibt Dr. Nasir Khan auf MWC News über das Ableben eines "großen" Königs. US-Präsident Barack Hussein Obama war vom Tode König Abdullahs von Saudi-Arabien so betroffen, dass er seinen Vize Joe Biden sofort in Marsch gesetzt hat, um zur Trauerzeremonie zu jetten. In Paris, beim "Marsch der Millionen" war das Imperium gerade einmal durch seine Botschafterin vertreten. In den USA weiß man, wo man Prioritäten setzten muss. Am Dienstag jettet Obama nach Saudi-Arabien, um dem neuen König sein "Beileid" auszusprechen.

Die andere europäischen Nationalstaaten wissen, was man dem Förderer des internationalen Terrorismus und Menschenrechtsverächter schuldig ist; sie haben die erste Garde ihrer Staatschefs zum Trauer-Happening entstand. Deutschland macht hier eine Ausnahme: Das Land wird durch Christian Wulf, einem durch persönliche politische Ungeschicklichkeiten vom Amt zurückgetreten Ex-Bundespräsident vertreten. Aber vielleicht erweist man der islamistischen Diktatur Abdullahs damit gerade die Ehre, die ihr gebührt. Ob die Saudis in Zukunft weiter deutsche Panzer kaufen, um ihre Bevölkerung in Schach zu halten und in den angrenzenden Diktaturen Aufstände niederzuschlagen, wird die Zukunft zeigen. 

Bundeskanzlerin Angela Merkel erklärte, König Abdullah habe das Land "mit Klugheit, Weitsicht und großem persönlichen Einsatz" geführt. Zu dieser "Klugheit, Weitsicht und persönlichem Einsatz" gehören auch die über 80 Enthauptungen in 2014 -zehn bereits im Januar 2015 - und die Folterungen Andersdenkender sowie die Entrechtung der Frauen, um nur einige politische Rechtsverstöße dieses Regimes zu erwähnen. Der immer noch in Freiheit befindliche Tony Blair meinte sogar, dass Abdullah "was loved by his people and will be deeply missed". Zynischer kann man es nicht formulieren. Der Blogger Raif Badawi gewärtigt noch 950 Peitschenhiebe für seinen Mut, "Meinungsfreiheit" gefordert zu haben. Bisher hat es im Westen gegen die massiven Menschenrechtsverletzungen und brutalen Tötungen keinen "Marsch der Millionen" gegeben. 

Auch beim israelischen Massaker im Juli 2014 an der Zivilbevölkerung des Gaza-Streifens (2 310 Tote, Zehntausende von Verwundeten, plus flächendeckender Verwüstungen durch Dauerbombardement) blieben die Staats- und Regierungschefs stumm; auch der saudische Diktator Abdullah rührte keinen Finger. Außer einigen Demonstrationen von Muslimen, denen man dann auch noch "Antisemitismus" angehängt hatte, war auch von der so genannten zivilcouragierten Zivilgesellschaft nichts zu sehen oder zu hören. Selbst ein organisierter "Aufstand der Anständigen" fand nicht statt. 

Der neue König Salam hat bereits versichert, alles beim Alten zu belassen. Dies ist nicht verwunderlich, kommt er doch aus einer nie enden wollenden Familiendynastie. Veränderung in dieser fundamentalistischen Gesellschaft kann nur von außen kommen. Die ersten Anzeichen von Veränderung künden sich bereits aus dem Osten und Süden an. Anfang Januar haben Kämpfer des "Islamischen Staates" drei saudische Grenzsoldaten getötet. Im Jemen haben schiitische Kämpfer das sunnitische Regime gestürzt. Vielleicht war dies die letzte Trauerfeier im Hause Saud, zu der die westlichen Freunde anreisen mussten. 

Ein "Islamischer Staat" ohne die Kontrolle über die heiligen Stätten des Islam ergibt keinen Sinn. Wenn der Aufmarsch der "trauernden" Staats- und Regierungschefs überhaupt einen Sinn ergeben soll, dann sollten sie sich für die Freilassung von Raif Badawi und aller zu Unrecht Verteilter sowie die Gleichberechtigung von Frauen einsetzen. Ihr "Trauerbesuch" dient jedoch nur dazu, weiterhin ihre Waffen zu exportieren und das Öl am Fließen zu halten. Mein Beileid!

"Wir sind Adolf"

Jedem Tierchen sein Pläsierchen. 

Es gibt Ewiggestrige und solche, die so tun, als ob sie es nicht seien, aber tatsächlich durchgeknallt sind. "Ein Pegida-Mann posiert als Hitler, und alle reden von einer Schande für Deutschland. Dabei täte es den Deutschen gut, ab und zu den Führer zu veralbern. Denn Ironie ist eine Form der Aufarbeitung", so leitet die Tageszeitung "Die Welt" den Artikel ihres Autors Henryk M. Broder ein.

Die beste Verhonepiepelung des Massenmörders ist jedoch Charlie Chaplin gelungen. Alle anderen können nur dilettieren. Durch die unprofessionelle Nachäffung hat der "führende Kopf" der Pegida-Bewegung nicht nur seine politische Unterbelichtung offenbart, sondern dieser Bewegung vermutlich auch den Todesstoß versetzt. Für diese politische Steilvorlage sollte ihm die politische und mediale Klasse dankbar sein. 

Die publizistische Verleumdung wie "Den Adolf machen" fällt laut Urteil der Zivilkammer des Frankfurter Landgerichts unter "Meinungsfreiheit". Als vor urdenklichen Zeiten ein angetrunkener Musiker eine Barrechnung in Israel mit "Heil Hitler" unterschrieb, brach "in Deutschland (...) der Aufstand der Anständigen aus", wie Broder es formuliert. Alle seien sich einig gewesen , "der Musiker sei ´eine Schande für Deutschland`". Damals habe es "noch keine Pegida und keine Legida" gegeben, aber bereits "eine Antifa, die umso heftiger gegen Adolf Hitler und die Seinen kämpfte, je länger das Dritte Reich tot war. Der Mann verlor seinen Job, seine bürgerliche Existenz und ward nie mehr gesehen oder gehört." So wird es vermutlich auch Bachmann ergehen. Könnte er sich noch retten, wenn er sich auf Broder beriefe? 

Liest man Broders Artikel, so scheint es, als habe er einen Faible für die Anliegen von Pegida. Hat nicht der Justizminister Heiko Maas die Bewegung als "Schande für Deutschland" bezeichnet? "Und schon ist wieder von einer Schande für Deutschland die Rede, die Aufrechten treten zum letzten Gefecht gegen die Rechten an", so Deutschlands bekanntester Polemiker gegen den Islam. Davon zeugt nicht nur sein anti-islamisches Pamphlet "Hurra, wir kapitulieren. Von der Lust am Einknicken", sondern auch die Tatsache, dass sich der norwegische Massenmörder Anders Behring Breivik in seinem über 1.000 Seiten starken Pamphlet mehrere Male auf Broders antiislamisches Geschreibsel berufen hat. Broders "Hurra, wir kapitulieren!" wurde doch tatsächlich mit Steuergeldern als ein "Beitrag" zur Bildung unters Volk gestreut. 

Nach Broder scheinen die Deutschen auch "im Jahre 70 n. A..sich selbst nicht über den Weg" zu trauen. Jetzt habe es Lutz Bachmann "erwischt". "Solche periodischen Anfälle von Hysterie kann man nur damit erklären, dass Hitler den Deutschen peinlich ist." Obgleich Adolf eine Reizfigur bleibe, an der sich die Deutschen "lustvoll und nachhaltig" abarbeiteten, so fänden deutsche Politiker nichts dabei, in den Iran zu reisen, um dort mit Politikern zu reden, "die sich nichts sehnlicher wünschen, als das 'zionistische Gebilde' auf dem Müllhaufen der Geschichte zu sehen". In Deutschland fänden Demos statt, auf denen Parolen wie "Hamas, Hamas, Juden ins Gas" und "Tod Israel" gerufen würden, stellt Broder fest. 

Insinuiert er durch diese schrägen Vergleiche nicht, dass man sich in Deutschland einerseits über Pegida und einen Nobody aus Dresden erregt, aber über die wirklichen heimlichen Sehnsüchte der Deutschen mit Nonchalance hinweggeht? Wird die islamophobe Karte von Broder und den Pegida-Leute nicht auch gespielt, um die permanente Kriegspropanda des Westens gegen die islamische Welt fest im Bewusstsein der Menschen in Deutschland und Europa festzusetzen? Durch die Dauerpräsentation von islamfeindlichen Karikaturen setzt man die Bevölkerung bewusst einer "islamischen Gefahr" aus, um der politischen Klasse einen Vorwand zu liefern, auch Deutschland und Europa in einen Überwachungs- und Polizeistaat à la USA zu verwandeln, um den Krieg gegen die Islamisten und auch möglicherweise gegen den Iran weiterführen zu können?

Broder hat in seinem Hausblatt, "Die Welt", folgende Strategie empfohlen: Deutsche sollten sich massenweise ein "Hitlerbärtchen" ankleben und "einen Seitenscheitel" ziehen und sich ein Schild mit der Aufschrift um den Hals hängen "Wir sind Adolf". 

Unterdessen verlassen weitere Journalisten das sinkende Schiff namens "Achse des Guten". Michael Miersch hat mit Aplomb seine Mitarbeit aufgekündigt, immerhin einer von drei Gründungsmitgliedern. "Auf der Achse hat sich eine Stimmung breit gemacht, der (die sic!) kaum noch etwas gemein hat mit der ursprünglich liberalen, weltoffenen und aufgeklärten Haltung dieses Autorenblogs." Die differenzierte Betrachtung sei einem kruden "Freund-Feind-Denken" gewichen, oftmals drapiert als "Verteidigung der Meinungsfreiheit". 

Miersch ist nicht der erste und hoffentlich nicht der letzte, dem die intolerante und agitatorische Art dieser neokonservativen und rechten Schreiberlinge auf die Nerven geht. Vor ihm haben schon der Zukunftsforscher Matthias Horx und die Journalisten Alan Posener und Tobias Kaufmann diesem Blog Adieu gesagt. Zuletzt war es Kaufmann, der massiven Widerspruch gegen einen unterirdischen Artikel eines hyperventilierenden Vorzeige Deutsch-Türken namens Akif Pirincci erhoben hatte. Kaufmann schreibt: "Er argumentiert wie die Nazis, also muss er auch damit leben, dass sie ihm zustimmen. Ich bin über diesen Text empört und erschreckt." Kaufmann wolle mit diesem Text " nicht gemein gemacht werden, nicht einmal im Ansatz, unter keinen Umständen". Das Princci-Buch "Deutschland von Sinnen" zeigt, wie von Sinnen der Autor ist. War er nicht auf der "Achse" unter seines Gleichen?

Die Schrägheit scheint zum Markenzeichen der "Achse" zu gehören, wenn man sich die Erklärung an die "lieben Leser" zu Gemüte führt. Mierschs Abschied wird zwar von der Redaktion "bedauert", aber er bleibt dem publizistischen Obskuranten-Stadel weiter als "Gesellschafter und Miteigentümer" erhalten. Den "treuen Lesern" wird versichert, dass so weitergemacht wird wie bisher. Und jetzt kommt der Gipfel der publizistischen Heuchelei: Die Achse des Guten biete Raum für "unabhängiges Denken". Ihre Autoren/innen "lieben die Freiheit und schätzen die Werte der Aufklärung"(!), und sie versuchten, "populären Mythen auf den Grund zu gehen, und sind skeptisch gegenüber Ideologien". Wohl bekomms!

Netanyahu: Prime Minister of Israel or the "Jewish People"?

Netanyahu's presence at the "march of the millions" in France protesting the Charlie Hebdo killings and the murderous assault on a Jewish supermarket, in which four French Jewish citizens were killed by the perpetrator, was not only an offence to the other heads of states gathered there but also to France and its political class. Netanyahu was not invited, but attended anyway and pushed himself in the first row to wave to his fans, as if on a campaign tour. 

He also brought numerous Shin Bet "gorillas", which not only should protect him, but also people with him in tow. Consequently, President Hollande and Prime Minister Valls were protected by Shin Bet agents during their stay at the Great Synagogue in Paris. Before Valls could reach his seat, he was held by the Israeli agents until Netanyahu was seated. He yelled correctly at these intelligence "Gorillas": "You don't make the rules here. You provide security for the Prime Minister of Israel, that is all." it seems as though Valls has not yet understood the pecking order, when Netanyahu travels abroad. 

For the "Grande Nation" a slap in the face. The message was: France's highest representatives need foreign protection and it's granted by Israel! Besides that, his behavior was really lousy, because he invited all French Jews to immigrate to Israel, because in France their safety is not guaranteed. Beyond that, the Israeli government "forced" the French Jewish families to bury their loved ones in Israel. The fatal message: even in death they can only find peace in Israel. 

Listen to what Shir Hever, an economic researcher in the Alternative Information Center, a Palestinian-Israeli organization active in Jerusalem and Beit-Sahour, has to say on "the real news.com" about Netanyahu's visit to Paris, the policy of the Israeli government and its right-wing nationalistic policy that suits the right-wing forces across Europe.

Jerusalem and the Israeli American Colonization of Palestine

"With regard to Israel the United States is not a umpire or referee. It is not a broker or a passive observer. " The illegal settlements in the West Bank, East Jerusalem and the Golan are financed by US capital and tax-exempt private donations. Israel is defended by US supplied arms, sustained by the US mass media, shielded by US diplomacy and often manned by US-born colonist, so Professor Walid Khalidi before an UN body. "The US is a major part of the problem and the major actor in the solution." 

This three year old video is highly recommended. Walid Khalidi tells a UN body what Zionists and their friends in the US and Western Europe don't want to hear: the truth.

Freedom of Speech French Style

The Western democracies have a real problem with the concept of "freedom of speech". Their hypocrisy and double standards know no borders. The inflicted state terrorism of the West against Muslims in the Middle East or non-white peoples in Africa or elsewhere is boundless. But when these downtrodden victims of Western genocidal attacks fight back, they are called "terrorists". Insults and incitement against Muslims and their prophet Mohammad falls allegedly under the concept of freedom of speech, which is assumed unlimited, however, when this noble concept is used against the atrocities committed by the Zionist occupying regime in Palestine or its US master, it's considered a "crime" by the French judiciary. 

Maurice Sinet, who worked as a political cartoonist for "Charlie Hebdo" for 20 years, was fired in 2009 for his "anti-Semitic" cartoon mocking the relationship of Nikolas Sarkozy's son, Jean, with a wealthy Jewish woman. Commenting on rumors that Jean considered to convert to Judaism out of carrier reasons, Maurice Sinet quipped: "“He’ll go a long way in life, that little lad." He was charged of "inciting racial hatred". After the journalist Claude Askolovitch thought, Sinet's article was anti-Semitic, then editor in chief, Philippe Val, demanded an apology from Sinet. He refused saying: “I’d rather cut my balls off.” He lost his job. One of the many Zionist front Organization took him to court, and Sinet won a 40, 000 Euro court judgment against his former publisher. 

The controversial French comedian Dieudonné M'bala M'bala posted on facebook "I like Charlie Coulibaly". An investigation by the Paris prosecutor's office followed immediately, and two days later, Wednesday 14 January, he was arrested for exercising his right of freedom of speech. His shows are banned because of being "anti-Semitic". With the approval of the French government freedom of expression can be utilized, but if it doesn't fit into the prevailing political concept of the ruling political and media class, one has a problem. 

The "protest march of millions" in Paris, "led" by 40 big shots, was a fake. The heads of states did not lead the march, instead they flew in for a photo op on a hermetically sealed street. No wonder that US President Obama did not want to waste his time for such a gimmick. Many of these heads of states fight against freedom of speech in their own countries. Was this the only manipulation by the corporate media?

The circumstances of the terror attack at "Charlie Hebdo" raises more questions that it has answered so far. The cold-blooded assassination of police officer Ahmed Merabet at point-blank range did not cause a single blood splatter on the sidewalk. In the assassination of John F. Kennedy, however, there was blood and brain all over the car. How come that the attack by the Kouachi brothers and their getaway were filmed from roof tops? Who were these people and who stationed them there? Do people take their IDs with them, when going on a deadly rampage? But the world knows already that it's possible to find a brand-new passport besides the pulverized twin towers in New York City. Like the 9/11 hijackers, the perpetrators of the Paris atrocities were known within minutes. 

Also the anti-terror raids in Belgium produced explosions and a burning apartment but no perpetrators. In Germany, suspects were arrested in camera. The Paris terror attakcs will be used by the local governments to crack down on civil liberties and bring the European governments in line with Washington's expansionist and deadly policy in the Middle East, against Russia and Africa. 

By the way, did the Kouachi brothers know, when they committed themselves to "Al-Qaeda", that the CIA invented the term in order to subsume all the "mujahedeen freedom fighters" against the Soviet occupation of Afghanistan? Didn't US President Carter's security adviser Zbigniew Brzezinski not only meet with Osama bin Laden but also posed with a Kalashnikov with these so-called freedom fighters for a photo op and told them the following: 

"We know of their deep belief in God, and we are confident their struggle will succeed. That land over there is yours, you’ll go back to it one day because your fight will prevail, and you’ll have your homes and your mosques back again. Because your cause is right and God is on your side." How come that within few years these religious people turned into terrorist? 

The US and other Western so-called "Friends of Syria" have created, in cooperation with the Gulf dictatorships, Islamist gangs of mercenaries who lead the imperialist war by proxy. Nobody knows who hires these jihadist fighters. Are they following NATO or Salafist propaganda? Although these mercenaries still risk their lives in the struggle of the West against the Assad regime, they are misused by Western propaganda in order to present them to the domestic audience as an "Islamic threat". 

After the attacks on Afghanistan and Iraq, the "Islamic threat" as a permanent tool of war propaganda that has been implanted into the consciousness of the peoples of the West. If the West does not turn away from this wrong track, he will continue to expose its populations to "Islamist threats". Western policies and media reporting over parts of the Muslim world are totally irresponsible and should be corrected.
